Have you ever thought about working at an animal hospital?
Receptionists
These individuals are responsible for greeting our clients, learning hospital protocols for health management, handle and reconcile client accounts at the time of service, and must have the ability to assess a client and their pet's need.
Veterinary Aide (Assistants)
These individuals are responsible for being knowledgeable about products and our services, have a personality to "connect" with both our clients and their pets. You must have the ability to assess a client's or pet's need, perform laboratory tests, assist doctors during the examination and clean and prepare the exam room between clients.
Surgery Aides (Assistants)
During surgery the pets must be examined, prepared for the surgical procedure and monitored afterward. This is the job of the surgery aide.
This job is very "hands-on" with the pets.
You would be trained on the types of medications that you need to administer, assist the doctor during the surgical procedure, monitor their recovery from anesthesia and be trained to do pet dental cleanings.
